Jon Moxley-Kenny Omega Contract Signing on AEW Dynamite

Tony Schiavone conducted this contract signing on AEW Dynamite and introduced Kenny Omega. Justin Roberts once again does the over the top intro hyping Omega's induction into the Wrestling Observer Hall of Fame.
Jon Moxley attacked Omega behind his silhouette and into the ring. Moxley ended his attack with the Paradigm Shift on the AEW World Title. Moxley said that whoever Omega hired to attack him did a piss poor job last week on AEW Dynamite. He also said that the only way to become AEW World Champion is to go deep down and become the Kenny Omega that everybody says he is.
Moxley said that the two best wrestlers tangle for the AEW World Championship and Winter Is Coming for Kenny Omega. He ended his promo and told Omega that when he comes for the king he best not miss. "Don't miss your shot, Kenny. You only get one." He added a thank you to Tony. Moxley then signed the contract for the title match next week.

Inner Circle promo
Alex Marquez interviewed Inner Circle. MJF screamed about getting punched by Frankie Kazarian. Chris Jericho said that he will make Kazarian famous by challenging him to a match next week on AEW Dynamite. He then threatened to end Frankie's career.
Hikaru Shida vs. Anna Jay for the AEW Women's World Championship
Vignette for Anna Jay vs Hikaru Shida for the AEW Women's World Championship was shown before this AEW Dynamite match. Anna Jay talked about being a rookie during their first meeting and the training from Tay Conti. Shida talked about the injury to her knee and that Anna Jay needs more heart to beat her.
These two had a good start with Shida gaining control with a tilt twirl neckbreaker. Anna Jay cut off Shida on the floor to gain the advantage in this AEW Dynamite contest. She threw Shida into the ring as we head to a picture in picture commercial.
Anna cut off the dead lift superplex and then asked Conti for a steel chair. The referee removed the chair, but John Silver handed Jay a kendo stick that she used on Shida's leg for a two count. Anna locked on the Queen Slayer, but Shida escaped. Shida hit a sliding forearm for a near fall. She then followed with the Tamachi for the win.

Post match, Abadon came down and freaked out Shida before grabbing the AEW Women's World Championship to mark it.
Matt Hardy promo/Team Taz Promo
Matt Hardy brought his new character to AEW Dynamite, acting better than everyone. Matt said when you are down, ask yourself what would Matt do. "Survive, thrive, win!"
After the break, we got a Team Taz promo. Ricky Starks, with Brian Cage and Powerhouse Hobbs, called out Cody Rhodes for making things personal with Taz earlier tonight. They hyped next week's tag team match with Darby Allin and Cody Rhodes.
