Tonight will be the fifth anniversary of AEW Dynamite, and the company is going all out to celebrate. Alongside its TV rights renewal with Warner Bros. Discovery, All Elite Wrestling has filed a trademark for 'King of Harts.'
'King of Harts' was one of the nicknames for legendary WWE Superstar Owen Hart, who tragically passed away in 1999. AEW has partnered with Owen's widow, Martha Hart, and her Owen Hart Foundation to produce an annual tournament honoring the legend.
The Jacksonville-based promotion sells a King of Harts t-shirt on its official site, but its original attempt to trademark the phrase in 2021 was blocked. The promotion filed to trademark 'King of Harts' once again on October 1 but limited it to merchandise this time around.
