A top star featured at the AEW Full Gear pay-per-view stated a bold reason why he would have continued his career in pro wrestling. The star being discussed is "Big Boom!" A.J. of the Costco Guys. He is a former pro wrestler who mostly competed on the independent circuit and is currently a prominent figure on social media.

Big Boom AJ wrestled on the pre-show of the Full Gear pay-per-view and defeated QT Marshall. The bout was vastly promoted by the former on different platforms. Also, the match garnered a massive reaction from the crowd during the early period of the contest. A shocking report following his bout noted that the social media influencer injured his foot before his match.

On Hey! EW, Big Boom AJ revealed that he wouldn't have quit pro wrestling if the internet had been as active back then as it is now.

“Well, because if we had all we had right now, the Internet, where you could really reach everyone, I would have stayed in wrestling," said AJ. "At the time, I went as far as wrestling as I really wanted to go, because without being on the road so many days a year… I have so much respect for professional wrestlers. Being on the road over 200 days a year, at the time, television was really only the opportunity." [H/T WrestleTalk]
