Jon Moxley choked out the reigning AEW World Champion, Bryan Danielson, formerly known as Daniel Bryan, with a plastic bag at the All Out 2024 Pay-Per-View, and the Jacksonville-based company issued an official statement regarding the same. The American Dragon was also attended by the doctors after the incident.

Bryan Danielson was slated to defend his AEW World Championship against Jack Perry at the All Out 2024 Pay-Per-View. After Danielson successfully retained his title, Christian Cage came out and tried to cash in his contract before Jon Moxley and other Blackpool Combat Club members came out to make the save for the former WWE Superstar.

However, Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and PAC surprisingly turned against Danielson, as Wheeler Yuta stood in shock. Moxley also showcased his violent side by choking out Danielson with a plastic bag. The visuals were so horrifying that AEW avoided sharing the footage of the moment and issued the following statement on its official X/Twitter handle:

"Due to the graphic nature of the attack on Bryan Danielson, we will not be sharing the footage. AEW does not condone such actions."

Danielson was checked on by the medical team after getting choked out with a plastic bag as well. Moreover, it seems like Moxley formed a new faction with Claudio, PAC, and Marina Shafir. Only time will tell where this story is heading from here.
