The AEW women's division looks stacked. It currently has two championships: the Women's World Championship and the TBS Championship. The former is held by Mariah May and the latter by Mercedes Moné.

One of the biggest names in this division is Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. She is a former AEW Women's World Champion who held this title for close to 300 days. For the majority of 2024, she was sidelined due to injury. However, she made her comeback at Forbidden Door 2024. Since then, she has wrestled only four times.

Baker's last match was against Serena Deeb at the AEW Dynamite Five-Year Anniversary show. She has not appeared on any of the company's programs since then, but a few hours ago, it was announced that she would return to in-ring action in next week's Dynamite.

"After one month away, Dr. @realBrittBaker D.M.D returns to #AEW, looking to climb the ranks of the Women’s Division once again! Don’t miss the return of the D.M.D in Bridgeport CT!" read the update.

AEW star Britt Baker recently broke up with boyfriend Adam Cole

Britt Baker and Adam Cole reportedly began dating in 2017 and parted ways earlier this year. In a recent conversation with The Takedown on SI, the leader of the Undisputed Kingdom opened up about their breakup. He stated that even though the two are not together anymore, the former Women's World Champion will remain an important part of his life.

"I think the world of Britt. I want her to be as happy and successful as humanly possible, and I know she feels the exact same way about me. We did decide to go our separate ways, but that doesn't mean that she will not be an incredibly important part of my life," said Adam Cole. [H/T: The Takedown on SI]

It remains to be seen what the future holds for Baker. Hopefully, Tony Khan will give her another title run sooner rather than later.
