Former WWE Superstars Samoan Joe and Chris Jericho recently started a new rivalry. A few hours ago, AEW made a surprising announcement regarding their match next week.
The recent edition of AEW Dynamite saw The Ocho attacking HOOK. The Samoan Submission Machine addressed the attack on Rampage, saying that he wanted to get revenge for the 25-year-old star.
The two wrestling veterans are set to lock horns on the July 10 edition of AEW Dynamite, which will emanate from the Calgary Stampede Saddledome in Canada. The Jacksonville-based promotion announced that the match will be a Stampede Street Fight.
Samoa Joe sent a warning to Chris Jericho
On this week's edition of Rampage, Samoa Joe sent a deadly warning to his upcoming opponent. He warned Chris Jericho about all the torture he was going to put him through.
"How much faith, Chris, do you have in these men? Because next week in Calgary, I am going to break and bleed you on the sands of the Calgary stampede. I am going to take you all over that building and torture you, Chris."
Joe added that no one would be able to save The Demo God from his wrath.
"And after I'm done caving in your face with my fist, Chris, how much faith do you have that there is a "man in this building who will peel me off your throat when I start strangling you?Who, Chris, is gonna stop me from doing the things that I'm gonna do to you? I have faith, Chris, that I'm gonna massacre you. Now the only question is, do you have enough faith in anybody to hope that they stop me?"
The former AEW World Champion seemed pretty angry with Jericho. It remains to be seen to what lengths he will go to inflict pain on the reigning FTW Champion.
