An AEW manager has seemingly hinted at wanting to take a page out of a top faction's book. He shared screenshots of the conversation he had with one of its members. The manager in question would be Stokely Hathaway, who sent texts to Wheeler Yuta of The Blackpool Combat Club.
Hathaway is currently not managing any faction, but he previously managed Kris Statlander. He was able to nudge her into turning heel, but that partnership has ceased to exist now.
On X/Twitter, Stokely Hathaway posted screenshots of his messages to Wheeler Yuta. He shared how, similar to how the faction operated, he carried a plastic bag with him at all times. Wheeler Yuta replied and just told him to shut up. It seems that the AEW manager may have wanted to see whether he'd fit in the BCC, but he was immediately shut down.
"lol," Stokely posted.

Stokely Hathaway seemingly trying to cause chaos between a top AEW duo
Earlier tonight on AEW Dynamite, Stokely Hathaway appeared on the show as he confronted Private Party.
The two previously turned him down after he offered his services as their manager. At WrestleDream pay-per-view, they ended up falling short of The Young Bucks, and Stokely made sure to remind them of this.
He claimed that he could have helped them win the titles. The duo is currently trying to get a rematch against The EVPs, but they were turned down. Hathaway mentioned that should they lose this rematch, it might be time to end Private Party. He also made a bold claim that between them, Isiah Kassidy was the better singles star.
At this point, it is unclear whether he is trying to motivate Kassidy and Quen or divide them. It remains to be seen whether the duo can pick themselves up and push for another run or whether the words get to them, and they go into business for themselves.
