AEW might have spoiled the return of a former WWE Superstar. The star being discussed is none other than Swerve Strickland. He has been off AEW programming since his brutal match at All Out.

The Realest Star has been one of the top workers in the promotion. He rose to the top to become an AEW World Champion and held the title for more than four months. After an excellent title reign, he dropped the championship to Bryan Danielson at All In London.

At All Out, Swerve Strickland faced Hangman Page in an Unsanctioned Lights Out Steel Cage match. The match was expected to be intense, especially after the duo's year-old rivalry seemingly escalated with time. The unsanctioned match saw both the stars trying to take one another down with different weapons. Hangman finally won the match after delivering a brutal chair shot to the head.

Swerve Strickland has been absent since the gruesome contest. AEW has a habit of announcing future venues on social media with the stars who are possibly going to be featured in that event. Recently on Instagram, the Jacksonville-based promotion posted about their future shows of Dynamite.

The November 6 edition of Dynamite will likely feature Strickland as he has been featured on the poster. The event will take place in Reading, Pennsylvania. As the star hasn't been announced for any events prior to it, the promotion may have spoiled his comeback date with this post.

Swerve Strickland seemingly getting ready to return to AEW

Swerve Strickland has been on a hiatus following the All Out Pay-Per-view. The star was featured on almost every show during his championship reign.

Swerve Strickland recently posted a clip on Instagram, where he can be seen working out in the gym and potentially teasing a comeback. Fans are all eager to know if the star would pick things back up right where he left it with Hangman or go after the AEW World Championship, currently held by the man who defeated him for the title, Bryan Danielson.

"Back to form," he wrote.

It will be interesting to see what is next for the former NXT North American Champion when he returns to the Tony Khan-based promotion in the future.
