AEW's Will Ospreay is widely regarded as one of the most talented wrestlers in the world right now. WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry is a big fan of the Englishman but feels his booking needs to change.

On May 26, Ospreay won the AEW International Championship from Roderick Strong at Double or Nothing. Since then, the 31-year-old has competed in five singles matches on AEW programming. The longest of those contests lasted 27 minutes, while the shortest lasted 14 minutes.

Henry recently left AEW after three years as a coach and commentator. In an exclusive interview, he told Sportskeeda Wrestling Senior Editor Bill Apter why Ospreay should wrestle shorter matches sometimes:

"If I own a company and I'm pushing Will Ospreay to be the man in my company, he's gonna have some damn three-minute matches. He's gonna have five-minute matches with some really good guys, but they can't hold a candle to him. He's gonna look like what he is, which is a million bucks. I don't feel like he's any different [due to his current booking]. He has too many 50/50 matches." [9:41 – 10:13]

Mark Henry compares Will Ospreay to Goldberg and Steve Austin

In the late 1990s, Bill Goldberg and Stone Cold Steve Austin were two of the top stars in WCW and WWE, respectively. It is well known that both men did not have a problem raising concerns if they disagreed with booking decisions.

While Mark Henry does not want Will Ospreay to cause issues backstage, he thinks the Brit should speak up like Austin and Goldberg:

"I'm not telling him to go and be an arrogant, overbearing p***k, but he's gotta protect himself, and the whole point is you want him to be the best representation of himself, but also the best representation for your company and your title. Bill Goldberg whooped people's a**. Stone Cold whooped a**." [10:15 – 10:39]

Ospreay retained the AEW International Championship against Daniel Garcia in his most recent title defense on the July 3 episode of Dynamite.
