While Tony Khan may receive flak for some of his decisions regarding AEW, his employees apparently have a very different perception of him. A backstage producer recently recounted an instance of Khan's behavior when the former went through a health scare.
The producer in question is Ray Lloyd. Known as Glacier during his WCW days, his experience in the professional wrestling business is unquestionable. He recently had an unfortunate episode with cardiac issues, which led to problems with his work schedule in All Elite Wrestling. However, Ray has made it clear that Tony Khan has been very understanding about the circumstances.
While speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's UnSKripted podcast, the 60-year-old veteran stated:
"You hear a lot about Tony Khan, as far as the person and the company owner of AEW and the business person, and the person as an individual. I can't say enough good things about Tony as a person and as a boss, and I mean that sincerely. Especially since I have gone through this (recent health scare) AEW has been just 100% supportive of me and they have been very understanding about things. It just, it means an awful lot."
