AEW has been dipping in viewership and ratings over the last few months, and it has failed to keep up with WWE's popularity. According to EC3, one way out of this situation is a public acknowledgment by All Elite Wrestling President Tony Khan.

It is no secret that the Jacksonville-based promotion is struggling to regain its past popularity. Despite frequent new signings like the rumored Hurt Syndicate being formed soon, the numbers have not risen much. According to former WWE star EC3, a public acknowledgment of the company's shortcomings may pave the way for a fresh start.

Speaking on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Outlaws, EC3 explained his thoughts by taking the example of Domino's Pizza owning their mistakes. He stated:

"I do believe perhaps a public acknowledgment maybe would garner them a lot of people turning back in, or at least giving it another shot. Giving it another would just have to be, you would have to deliver something they want and they keep wanting." [10:10 onwards]

Another WWE veteran is not happy with reported AEW signings

Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, and MVP are rumored to be on their way to AEW, much to Vince Russo's dismay.

On the same episode of The Wrestling Outlaws, Russo explained that Tony Khan's tendency to keep signing new stars is a desperate attempt to stay relevant. The WWE veteran stated:

"Bro, how many people are we gonna sign, my god, bro. It's just getting relentless and ridiculous now. If somebody knew every week they are on TV for a couple of weeks then the next person knew... I am begging them, bro, to have some consistency. Start coming up with a roster of guys and gals that you're gonna go with week in and week out," he said. [4:20 onwards]

As of now, it remains to be seen what Tony Khan plans to do in AEW next.
