AEW is currently hosting its sixth annual Full Gear pay-per-view from Newark, New Jersey. The pay-per-view will feature 12 matches, with multiple championships on the line throughout the night.
A few minutes ahead of the show, All Elite Wrestling announced its first simulcast on MAX. This is a milestone moment for the company. Earlier this year, Tony Khan signed a blockbuster deal with Warner Bros. Discovery, which is estimated to be worth $185 million per year.
As part of the new contract, TBS and TNT will broadcast All Elite Wrestling shows Dynamite and Collision, but AEW programming will stream live on MAX simultaneously for U.S. subscribers for the first time since the company's establishment.
At Full Gear, the company confirmed that Fight for the Fallen would be simulcast on MAX. The special episode of Dynamite will air on Wednesday, January 1, 2025.
A top AEW star just called one of his colleagues 'spoiled' and 'narcissistic' HERE.
The first-ever edition of the Fight for the Fallen event was held in 2019. Last year's edition stretched across a full week of television and featured high-profile matches like Darby Allin vs. Christian Cage, Orange Cassidy vs. Wheeler Yuta, and more. Fight for the Fallen will be the first episode of Dynamite following the Worlds End pay-per-view, which will air on December 28.
