Tony Khan has made a big announcement about The Elite and their immediate future. This will undoubtedly have the fans excited as they look forward to AEW Dynamite next week.
The AEW President has been on the receiving end of many hardships from The Elite. The Young Bucks have also taken over the reins of running Dynamite, but it looks like Tony Khan is slowly starting to regain control.
TK took to X/Twitter and announced that The Elite will take on Will Ospreay, Konosuke Takeshita, and Kyle Fletcher on Dynamite next week in a trios match. He wrote:
“Next Wednesday, 9/18 Wilkes-Barre, PA Wednesday Night #AEWDynamite TBS, 8pm ET/7pm ET World Tag Team Champions @youngbucks + Continental Champion @rainmakerXokada vs International Champion @WillOspreay @Takesoup @kylefletcherpro All-Star Trios Match live on TBS next Wednesday!”

Backstage news on Tony Khan’s rumored AEW show
Tony Khan is a very busy man and if reports are to be believed, then a new AEW show is in the works.
A few weeks back, it was reported that the company had filed for a new trademark called Shockwave. Since then, many reports have come out backing the claim that it was going to be a new show. During the All Out post-show media scrum, TK also seemingly acknowledged the filing.
Now, Ibou of WrestlePurists reported that the new show, Shockwave, could be a one-hour show that will be aired on Fox Sports 1.
‘‘What has gone around behind the scenes and circulated among amongst [All Elite Wrestling] talent and [All Elite Wrestling] circles is that AEW Shockwave will be a 1-hour show on Fox Sports 1. That is the latest rumor. [All Elite Wrestling] Shockwave, FSI. 1 Hour,” he revealed.
It will be interesting to see how this show will be accommodated in addition to the other shows already on the schedule.
