AEW star Bobby Lashley is currently a member of The Hurt Syndicate. He is one of the most dominant performers in the modern day and age. Furthermore, he has held the WWE Championship twice during his time in the Stamford-based company.
When The All Mighty was signed to the WWE, he was once in a 'love triangle' storyline with Lana and Rusev (aka Miro). This storyline is infamous to this day. Fans widely believed that this booking could have ruined Lashley's career but thankfully that didn't happen.
The 48-year-old has fond memories of his time working with Rusev and Lana. In a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet of Insight, he called the latter a "sweetheart" and said that she made him feel comfortable during that time. He also has immense respect for her acting skills and her ability to understand the entire plan of the feud.
"Lana is a sweetheart, and I know that some people were hard on her because it seems like she tries too much, she tries too hard, and sometimes it comes as not sincere to people and I think some people kind of jumped on her about it. But working with her, I think she’s a sweetheart and she really helped me feel comfortable in that role. I had nothing but respect for her for going through it, because she kept it very respectful. I was working with her and her husband, and she understood what the plan was, so she wanted to play her part,” said Bobby Lashley. [H/T: Chris Van Vliet]
