DIY won the WWE Tag Team Championship on this week's SmackDown. AEW star Dax Harwood recently reacted to their monumental victory.
On the July 5 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) challenged A-Town Down Under (Austin Theory and Grayson Waller) for the WWE Tag Team Championship and successfully defeated the champions to win the gold. The challengers made the champions tap out by using their respective submission holds at the same time. The finish of this match was a call back to DIY's first-ever title win.
Gargano and Ciampa used the same double submission in 2016 when they won the NXT Tag Team Title at NXT TakeOver: Toronto from FTR (FKA The Revival in WWE.) DIY also paid tribute to Dax Hardwood and Cash Wheeler several times throughout the match.
That said, Dax Harwood took to X (formerly Twitter) to react to DIY paying homage to them and winning the WWE Tag Team Title on SmackDown. He shared a picture of their aforementioned match from NXT TakeOver: Toronto 2016.

WWE veteran slams Dax Harwood for questioning Disco Inferno's legitimacy
Dax Harwood and Disco Inferno recently got into an online feud after the latter called AEW an unsafe work environment. Harwood lashed back at Inferno for making such accusations and threw in some insults as well.
WWE veteran Vince Russo didn't appreciate Harwood questioning Disco Inferno's legitimacy. In a recent edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling's The Wrestling Outlaws, he said:
"The boys should not bury the boys, bro. That's the way it should be. Bro, I could tell you this, talking about, and then he (Dax) goes to some ridiculous stuff like... You are gonna question Disco's work ethic? Bro, I guarantee you that guy has been in a gym every single day of his life since probably 1995, to this day. To this day. Look at Disco, look at the shape this guy is still in. So, the fact that you are gonna say he didn't put the work in?"
It remains to be seen how long this feud will continue on social media and who else might weigh on the matter.
