Vince Russo believes WWE should have released Candice LeRae alongside Indi Hartwell
Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell have been together as a tag team since their time in NXT. Many were shocked to see the promotion release Indi as she was a notable part of the women's tag team division with Candice LeRae.
In a recent edition of Sportskeeda's exclusive BroDown podcast, Vince Russo claimed that Candice LeRae should have been released with Indi Hartwell. He said that the only reason she wasn't let go was due to her husband Johnny Gargano's relationship with the promotion.
"No, no [not surprised], I think I ran down a laundry list last week of who was on the show and who needs to be cut, and literally I believe I listed Indi Hartwell and Tegan Nox. And, listen, come on, let's be honest, Candice LeRae should have been let go with Indi Hartwell but her husband works there and Shawn Michaels is in love with her husband. Who knows what they got going on? That's the only thing that saved her job," he said.
Fans will have to wait and see what's in store for Indi Hartwell's future in professional wrestling.
