A couple of AEW stars tasted gold for the first time in the Tony Khan-led company this week at Fright Night Dynamite. One of the two wrestlers concerned, Isiah Kassidy, has addressed the win on social media.
On the October 30, 2024 edition of Dynamite, The Young Bucks defended the AEW World Tag Team Titles against Private Party. The beloved up-and-coming tag team would have to end their partnership if they lost the bout, according to the stipulation the two sides had agreed upon previously.
Despite the best efforts of the All Elite EVPs, Zay and Quen proved too tough to be put down and finally defeated The Bucks to become the newly-crowned World Tag Team Champions. Isiah Kassidy has now broken his silence on the subject and recently took to X/Twitter to share a photograph of himself, presumably with his mother, noting in the caption how he kept his promise to the latter of winning the tag titles.
"I swore on my momma we would win the titles & I wasn't lying [bicep flex emoji]," wrote Zay.

Zay's partner, Marq Quen, also commented on Kassidy's post, writing:
"I had to leave. She was gonna make me tears"

Private Party avoided a former tag team's fate on Fright Night AEW Dynamite
Before Private Party's match with The Young Bucks this week on Dynamite, the duo spoke with interim EVP Christopher Daniels. The Fallen Angel and his former tag partner Frankie Kazarian had also challenged Matthew and Nicholas Jackson under a similar stipulation - with SCU agreeing to split up if they lost - three years ago. Daniels and Kazarian did lose the bout, which ended their tag team as a result.
However, Private Party assured Christopher Daniels they would not suffer the same fate. It was easier said than done for the young duo, as The Bucks pulled out all the stops to retain their AEW World Tag Team Titles. They even factored their Elite stablemate Kazuchika Okada into their plans, which saw The Rainmaker hit Quen with a tombstone piledriver on the entrance stage.
Ultimately, none of The Jackson Brothers' tricks worked in their favor, as a Gin and Juice on Nicholas Jackson helped secure the victory for Private Party, launching their first title reign in All Elite Wrestling.
