AEW star calls The Undertaker a "benevolent king" 

An AEW star recently called The Undertaker a "benevolent king." The star in question is former WWE Superstar Mark Henry, who works as a commentator, coach, and talent scout for the Jacksonville-based company.

'Taker is regarded as one of the best to ever grace the squared circle. He gave three decades to the wrestling business. The Phenom has now retired from pro wrestling but is open to making appearances in WWE as long as he doesn't have to take any hard bumps.

That said, speaking on the Busted Open podcast, Bully Ray and Mark Henry spoke about how The Dead Man was not only exceptionally talented but also possessed a kind heart.

Ray narrated a story where he accidentally injured The Undertaker and feared that he would reprimand him and create a big fuss about the accident. However, The Phenom did no such thing and instead handled the situation calmly.

Mark Henry also heavily praised 'Taker and commented on his benevolent nature.

"I'm just happy [for] the fact that it was never me," Henry said. "But I watched." Even in follow-up conversations with The Undertaker, Henry never recalled any badmouthing of the offending party. "He never said [anything] to me like, 'I can't believe that guy.' That's who he is, a benevolent leader, a benevolent king." [H/T: WrestlingInc]

The Undertaker opened up about his last wrestling match

The Undertaker was a special guest on the Busted Open podcast recently. During the interview, he commented on his Boneyard match against AJ Styles.

While most of the fans wanted the match to take place in front of a live audience, 'Taker was glad that it didn't, as the cinematic setting allowed both stars to deliver phenomenal performances.

"When we did the cinematic match, it was almost a relief. Obviously, that match was originally supposed to happen in a stadium. There was gonna be a regular match and in my mind, I was thinking, 'Okay. This isn't Shawn [Michaels], but man, this is really close to Shawn,' and I was thinking about the match that we could have. The only reason I was gonna have that match is because I never worked with AJ," he stated.

The Undertaker's retirement was followed by his Hall of Famer indication. He was inducted into the class of 2022. He has made a few appearances in WWE in the last few years, the most recent being his WrestleMania 40 cameo.
