A popular AEW star just made a brief appearance tonight at ROH Final Battle 2024, making their first appearance on the promotion in ten months. This would be Danhausen.
The Very Nice, Very Evil star has been a peculiar figure that has become a fan favorite in the industry. Even some stars in the business, including CM Punk, have become quite fond of him.
He hasn't been seen in AEW in almost a year, as his focus has been mainly on his appearances on the independent circuit. He has also not been seen on Ring of Honor since February.
During the opening contest of Final Battle, Mansoor, of MxM Collection, was in singles action against Atlantis Jr. The luchador was in control for the majority of the match, but interferences from Mason Madden at ringside proved to be crucial for Mansoor's chances to win.
At a point in the match, it seemed the momentum was shifting for good due to such ringside interferences, but Danhausen shickingly emerged from under the ring with a luchador mask on to blindside Madden. He then removed it, revealing his signature face paint. This assist was enough for Atlantis Jr to walk away with the win tonight.
Now that he has appeared on ROH, it remains to be seen whether Danhausen will appear in AEW sometime soon, with many anticipating his return sooner than later.
