An AEW star commented on allegations that he has some kind of resentment toward WWE. He gave a firm answer and shut off the suggestions.
The star in question is none other than Taz. The AEW commentator had a brief run in WWE before moving companies; however, he is most known for his time in ECW. He is now a commentator in Tony Khan’s company but he has been away for a few weeks.
One fan wrote to him on Twitter and said that he was resentful toward WWE. Taz did not take too kindly to those words and hit back, saying:
“ZERO resentment. Why would you even say something like that? It’s so inaccurate… You don’t know me. And the thing you need to realize is they offered me a whole new career opportunity which I’m still doing today as a color commentator. So you’re dead wrong.”

AEW star Taz thanks Paul Heyman for great ECW storyline
AEW star Taz, as mentioned earlier, made his name in ECW, where he became known as the Human Suplex Machine. During his time there, he had a lot of great rivals; however, there was one man with whom he had an iconic rivalry, and that was Sabu.
He recently took to Twitter to thank Paul Heyman for letting him have that iconic one-year rivalry with Sabu. He wrote:
“Good times. Thank you @TheRealSabuECW & @HeymanHustle for a great 1 year long story. 🙏.”
The rivalry that Taz had with Sabu is still remembered, and they had a lot of iconic matches, some of which are still spoken about today. It is also great to see how grateful Taz is to his former boss, Paul Heyman.
Heyman was instrumental in keeping ECW afloat and, for a while, was one of WWE’s main competitors alongside WCW.
