An AEW star who recently made their return to action has reportedly been diagnosed with a concussion. It seems they'll have to go on a hiatus once more amidst the situation. This would be Bandido.

The luchador has not been seen since June last year at an episode of AEW Rampage. Last weekend, he made his return at ROH Final Battle. He came out to come to the aid of Matt Cardona, as he cleaned house and took out The Learning Tree.
During a point in the segment, Bandido went to the top rope and hit a Missile Dropkick on Chris Jericho. However, he ended up landing on his head, and he seemed a little dazed afterward.

Recently, Dave Meltzer reported on the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Bandido indeed suffered a concussion during the show. He also mentioned that a feud with Jericho, including a potential title match, was scheduled for him. However, it is now unclear how long he'll remain out of action.
This is another unfortunate situation, seeing as the AEW luchador had to work through a lot, including surgery procedures, to become ready for an in-ring return. Fans who were waiting for his first match in one and a half years may have to wait a little longer after this.

He is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Studies, which influenced his decision of taking up sports writing professionally, and has been an avid fan of the athletic theater since childhood. He believes readers deserve authentic and unique content and aims to report in a manner which pro wrestling fans can easily relate to.
Growing up, Enzo admired former world champions like AJ Styles, Will Ospreay, Bryan Danielson, Triple H, and Randy Orton for their finishing moves. As an adult, he started to appreciate their character work, as they juggled between heel and babyface gimmicks.
If allowed to produce one final storyline involving his idols, he would have Orton lock horns with John Cena, would be their one last big feud as both of them seem to be approaching the tail end of their careers.
Other than pro wrestling, Enzo enjoys keeping up with Basketball, Football, and Formula One. He also loves watching films, playing video games, and listening to music.
