Will Ospreay was in action on this week's Dynamite episode. His surprising new look prompted AEW star Austin Gunn to comment on it.

The former International Champion faced Claudio Castagnoli in the Continental Classic Gold League match on Dynamite: Winter is Coming. Both stars put in outstanding performances but, in the end, only one could prevail and it was The Aerial Assassin.

After Ospreay picked up a big win over Claudio Castagnoli, the Swiss wrestler lost it. He was quite upset with his defeat and attacked his opponent in the middle of the ring. He intended to do more damage, but luckily Darby Allin rushed out to make the save.

The English pro wrestler was sporting a new hairstyle during his match against the Death Riders member. Following the event, Austin Gunn went on X (fka Twitter) and insinuated that his new hairdo was a copy of WWE legend Billy Gunn's hairstyle from 1987. He also shared a picture of Ospreay from Dynamite 12/11 and his father's old photo side by side for comparison.

Claudio Castagnoli addresses his loss to Will Ospreay on Dynamite

Claudio Castagnoli had an exclusive interview backstage after his loss to The Aerial Assassin on Dynamite. He said he was not happy with the setback he had faced earlier that night, but won't take it to heart as he has a bigger picture to focus on, i.e., winning the tournament.

"I'm not happy that I lost to Will Ospreay, but I am also not losing sight of the bigger picture. See, Will Ospreay, I have a lot of respect for you; you are a tremendous warrior. I used to be a warrior once. You know what the difference is between a warrior and what I am now. See, a warrior, he loves the battle, he lives for a fight, he loves it. I just know it's an act to be accomplished, and yet today, I failed," he said.

Despite the loss on Wednesday night, Jon Moxley's faction member currently sits at the top in the Gold League of the tournament alongside Will Ospreay and Ricochet with six points each.
