An AEW star recently lost his cool at MJF. He went on to threaten the latter on social media.
As soon as Maxwell Jacob Friedman made his return from injury, Rush has been very vocal about the former. He has taken shots at the former AEW World Champion at every opportunity. The two men have even indulged in all-out brawls since then. To settle scores, Friedman and Rush squared off this week on Dynamite.
Rush dominated the match but it was The Devil who emerged victorious in the end. The former was livid over his loss on Dynamite and he took to social media to send a threatening message to Friedman. The 35-year-old's post was in response to Maxwell's message where he said that he hated the former's guts, but he had earned his respect.
"I recognize not everyone can take a beating like the one I gave you. you earned my respect. BUT if we ever wrestle again “respect” will not stop me from f***ing k***ing you!!!"

MJF will face Hechicero at AEW X NJPW Forbidden Door
Following MJF's match with Rush, Brian Cage and the Gates of Agony interrupted him to announce that CMLL star Hechicero wants to face Maxwell at AEW X NJPW Forbidden Door.
Following this, Tony Khan took to social media to say that The Salt of the Earth had accepted the challenge and went on to make the match between Friedman and Hechicero official.
"@The_MJF vs @_ReyHechicero It's official for Forbidden Door live on June 30! MJF has accepted the challenge of Hechicero," wrote Khan.

Although Hechicero has competed in a few matches in AEW this year, this will be his first PPV match for the promotion. Meanwhile, this will be Maxwell's first pay-per-view match since returning after several months of absence. Hence, both men will have a point to prove at Forbidden Door later this month.
