The Red Death has been missing from All Elite programming since losing to MJF at All Out 2024. The up-and-coming star has recently been at the center point of conjecture after reports emerged that he was weighing his options between staying in the Tony Khan-led company and jumping ship to WWE.
However, Garcia made an unexpected return on the October 8, 2024 edition of AEW Dynamite. Renee Paquette approached Garcia for comments about his future in the promotion. The former JAS member responded by stating that he would answer the subject inside the ring and in front of the fans in the arena.

Garcia's previous appearance on Dynamite took place on September 4, with the former ROH Pure Champion opening the show to call out MJF ahead of their bout at All Out 2024. The Wolf of Wrestling defeated Garcia at the pay-per-view, but the latter would destroy Friedman in a retaliatory post-match attack.
It remains to be seen what the future holds for Daniel Garcia in AEW.
