A wrestling veteran currently serving as a broadcast personality in AEW had an interesting exchange on social media with another star from the company. The individual in question, Taz, sent a message to Bryan Keith.
Earlier this year, the announcer's son HOOK was involved in a feud with inaugural AEW World Champion Chris Jericho over the FTW Title, a championship that had been conceptualized and formerly held by The Human Suplex Machine. The Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil reclaimed the belt (which he had lost to Jericho in April) by defeating The Learning Tree in an FTW Rules match at AEW All In: London 2024.
Near the closing stretch of the aforementioned bout, Jericho gained the upper hand over HOOK owing to interference from his stable-mate Bryan Keith. However, The Bad Apple would be neutralized by Taz, who left the commentary desk to lock Keith in a Tazmission, followed by his son forcing the former JAS leader to tap out to the Red Rum.
While Taz is currently recovering from and rehabilitating a recent knee replacement surgery, Bryan Keith seemingly has not forgotten the WWE and ECW legend choking him out at Wembley Stadium. Taking to X/Twitter, the former Bounty Hunter seemingly hinted at future retaliation against Taz.
"I ain’t forget about this s**t. One of these days…"

The latter, however, warned Keith that he now had a titanium knee (evidently alluding to his surgical procedure) which he threatened to employ against him.
"I got a brand new titanium knee hoss…Better beware, don’t lemme drop the gimmick knee right on your chest bro …. s*** is heavy metal!" wrote Taz.

Taz was written out of AEW programming for his surgery after being assaulted in October by members of The Patriarchy, led by Christian Cage.
What Taz and HOOK have been up to in AEW lately
After weeks of absence, Taz unexpectedly returned to broadcasting duty alongside Excalibur and Tony Schiavone at Dynamite on 34th Street, taped in the iconic Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City earlier this month.
A report that emerged subsequently claimed that the 57-year-old veteran was likely not returning full-time yet and that he had appeared on Dynamite because the tapings took place close to his home.
On the other hand, HOOK is still seeking revenge on Christian Cage and The Patriarchy for attacking his father. He defeated Nick Wayne on Rampage: New Year's Smash, and was seen keeping an eye on The Patriarch and his faction as they watched the AEW World Title four-way bout at Worlds End 2024.
