AEW star Malakai Black shares special post, CM Punk reacts

AEW star Malakai Black posted a special video on social media, and it even garnered a reaction from WWE Superstar CM Punk. Punk was fired by Tony Khan in September of last year.

The leader of the House of Black turned 39 today and posted a video on Instagram training in the gym alongside his wife and current WWE star, Zelina Vega. In the video, he is seen boxing with a boxing bag and working hard.

He simply wrote:

“39.”

CM Punk liked the post, showing his appreciation to a fellow wrestler from his former company. It is great to see that he still has good relations with people working and all is not bad. Malakai will no doubt appreciate the Second City Saint liking his post.

Malakai Black set to face Kyle O’Reilly in massive rematch after seven years

Malakai Black is all set to face Kyle O’Reilly in a rematch that is seven years in the making. O’Reilly and Black have been at loggerheads ever since the latter started to target Adam Copeland.

Kyle came out to the ring and saved the TNT Champion a few times from being attacked by the House of Black. It has now been announced that the two men will square off on AEW Dynamite next Wednesday.

Malakai Black and O’Reilly last fought each other when they were in WWE NXT on August 2, 2017. Given the simmering rivalry between the two over the last month, it should be exciting to see two top wrestlers go at it in the ring next week.

The leader of the House of Black will be taking on Adam Copeland in a barbed wire steel cage match at AEW Double or Nothing for the TNT title, and this match could serve as a precursor to that showdown. The fans will no doubt look forward to it.
