Mercedes Mone has been dominant in her AEW run since debuting earlier this year. The 32-year-old star continued her winning ways as she recently returned to a major promotion after nearly fifteen months.
Mercedes Mone is currently one of the most highly-discussed and respected names in the Jacksonville-based promotion, with a win-loss record to show for it. The CEO recently retained her TBS Championship against Britt Baker at All In 2024. She threw a backstage party celebrating her Wembley Stadium victory on this week's episode of Dynamite in a segment featuring her new ally Kamille, budding tag team Private Party, and Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada.
Notably, Mone also holds the NJPW Strong Women's Championship - a belt she captured by beating Stephanie Vaquer at Forbidden Door 2024. The Boss defended the belt recently when she returned to action in an NJPW ring for the first time since May last year. Mone put the Strong Women's Title on the line against Momo Watanabe at NJPW Capital Collision 2024 on August 30. The hard-hitting bout saw the former WWE Superstar retain her championship against the 24-year-old Stardom talent via submission.
Mercedes Mone on opponents she wants to face in AEW
AEW's women's division has never been as full of potential as it has in recent months. The arrival of Mercedes Mone injected new life into the female locker-room, as it opened the doorway to a number of possible and exciting matches featuring the former IWGP Women's Champion.
Speaking on a recent interview with Beyond The Frame, Mone shed light on which All Elite Wrestling stars she would like to lock horns with, listing a number of top names, including Thunder Rosa, Kris Statlander, the recently-returning Jamie Hayter, former AEW Women's World Champion Toni Storm as well as her former protege and newly-crowned Women's World Champion, Mariah May.
It remains to be seen whether Mercedes Mone will defend any of her titles at AEW's upcoming pay-per-view, All Out 2024.
