Mercedes Mone, formerly known as Sasha Banks, recently opened up about her boss, Tony Khan, and how he is a great person. The AEW President is known to care for his stars and this is another story that revolves around the same narrative.
The current AEW TBS Champion is known to be very active on social media and she also has her own newsletter that she sends to her fans regularly. In her latest newsletter, The CEO opened up about how Tony Khan let her use his private jet so that she could go and attend to her brother who was sick.
In her newsletter, Mone goes into detail about how Tony Khan did not hesitate to let her use his private jet and how grateful she was because of the heartwarming gesture.
"Without hesitation, Tony said he would help. He took me back on his jet headed to Jacksonville and made it a point to stop in Orlando. No lie, I'm actually crying tears of joy and gratitude as I write this. I'm so blessed and grateful to be working at a company like AEW and to have a leader whose motto is 'family first,'" Mercedes Mone wrote.
What the future has in store for The CEO remains to be seen.
Bayley on a potential match against AEW star Mercedes Mone at WWE WrestleMania
Bayley and Mercedes Mone are best friends and that is a known fact. The two stars do not shy away from supporting each other publicly.
The Role Model recently revealed that she still dreams of having a match with Mercedes Mone at WrestleMania in the future. The current WWE Women's Champion appeared in an interview with Bernard Colas when she said:
"In my dreams, it does happen, but you know, time is ticking, but never say never. I hate saying ‘never say never,’ and everybody says they hate saying ‘never say never,’ but they always say ‘never say never.’ Wrestling is so crazy. I’ve been thinking about that lately. How wild this world is? And I could see it happening someday, you know, if she (Mercedes Mone) wants. But it could be 10 years from now, and it could still be special, you know? She said one day is all. Yeah, yeah. So do what you gotta do."
It will be great to see the two women square off against each other one more time. Only time will tell if that comes to fruition or not.
