Fans were shocked today after beloved WWE ring announcer Samantha Irvin announced her departure from the company. As speculation swirls regarding a potential jump to AEW, Ricochet has posted a cheeky photo of himself with the former RAW star on social media.
Samantha Irvin has received plenty of praise for her ring announcing on Monday Night RAW, but it seems her time with the company has come to an end. The 35-year-old is engaged to AEW's Ricochet, who departed WWE at the end of June.
According to Fightful Select, several within WWE expected Irvin to leave shortly after Ricochet, with a lighter schedule being cited as a motivating factor. Sources within AEW have not yet confirmed whether the promotion has reached out to Samantha, but Ricochet isn't wasting any time in riling up fans.

Samantha Irvin was recently spotted with another AEW star
All Elite Wrestling has been making huge strides in expansion throughout 2024. The company recently landed a landmark television deal with Warner Bros. Discovery, and it has also announced multiple stadium shows set to take place next year.
The young promotion has also been active in free agency, signing top stars like Mercedes Mone, Will Ospreay, and Kazuchika Okada. If Samantha Irvin joins the Jacksonville-based promotion, she will likely be working alongside fellow former WWE star, Justin Roberts.
Roberts has been AEW's primary ring announcer since the company's inception. He recently posted a photo with Irvin on Instagram and sang her praises in the caption:
"Ring announcing can be more than just saying names, @samanthairvinwwe is raising the bar out there," wrote Roberts.
Irvin has been a beloved fixture of Monday Night RAW, and it's currently unclear if she intends to continue her career in the wrestling industry. If AEW manages to procure her services, it would be a major pickup for the promotion.
