A former champion in AEW expressed his displeasure on social media towards the company President, Tony Khan meeting Shane McMahon. The star reacted angrily to Shane's statement regarding his recent meeting with Khan.
The AEW star in question is the former trios champion, Max Caster. Tony Khan recently broke the internet when his picture from a meeting with Shane McMahon went viral. Shane had been rumored to go All Elite for the past few months as well. Now the rumors of Shane coming on board have been fueled even further.
Meanwhile, Shane O Mac issued a statement regarding his secret meeting with the AEW President. According to the WWE Hall of Famer, Bully Ray, he had a call with Shane and Shane stated the following, as Bully revealed on Busted Open:
"Tony and I were connected through a mutual friend and we had a great meeting. We talked about many things, but mostly about our shared love for the business and the rewards and challenges of working with family. I congratulated him on the five year anniversary of AEW and look forward to how he evolves the business moving forward," Shane stated.
The AEW star, Max Caster took notice of the above statement by Shane and was clearly not happy with his meeting with Khan. Caster took to the 'X' social media platform to react to a statement with an angry gif:
WWE legend urged Tony Khan to bring Shane McMahon to AEW
The WWE legend, Lex Luger is also on board with the idea of bringing Shane McMahon to AEW. Speaking on Busted Open Radio recently, Luger urged Tony Khan to bring Shane in:
"100%. I think he [Khan] should do it. I feel that with the way the wrestling business, with all its different platforms, and they way it's exploding like we've never seen before, absolutely, 100%. I think it [would] be a great idea to bring Shane in."
Henceforth, only time will tell if Shane O Mac is actually bound to be All Elite and what role would he play in case he is to join Tony Khan's promotion.
