AEW has seen its fair share of injuries this year, but its latest one was scarier than usual. Longtime mid-card talent and tag team specialist Bulk Bronson has now given an update after this recent hospitalization.

Bulk Bronson debuted in AEW back in 2020 alongside his partner, Beefcake Boulder, as Bear Country. The two have never made it into the main event scene, but they've racked up plenty of matches in All Elite Wrestling and ROH and secured a sizeable fanbase along the way.

Bronson is also still active on the independent scene, and he was scheduled to compete at Beyond Wrestling's Heavy Lies the Crown event tonight in Worcester, MA. Unfortunately, a recent incident left the 29-year-old hospitalized.

Bulk took to X/Twitter today with an update for his fans. He revealed that he'd been dealing with back issues for years, but the injury worsened after helping his parents move commercial refrigerators a few days ago. He later collapsed on his bathroom floor and couldn't move for hours.

A top AEW star just called one of his colleagues 'spoiled' and 'narcissistic' HERE.

Bronson was rushed to a hospital, where an MRI revealed that he had four herniated discs. The AEW star told fans that he was okay and apologized for being unable to make it to Heavy Lies the Crown:

"Hey everyone, its been a rough few days but ill be ok! Thank you DC, TJ, Love Doug, & all of the @beyondwrestling fans, I PROMISE I’ll make this up to you ❤️"

AEW just got one of its top stars back from injury

While Bulk Bronson seems to be on the shelf for now, AEW recently got a couple of its major stars back. Fans welcomed both Adam Copeland and Kenny Omega back at Worlds End this past Saturday.

Copeland had been out of action since May when he suffered a fractured tibia after a dive from the top of a steel cage. The Rated-R Superstar returned alongside FTR to confront Jon Moxley and his Death Riders following the main event of Worlds End.

Copeland and FTR are now scheduled to face Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, and Claudio Castagnoli on the upcoming Fight for the Fallen edition of Dynamite. Only time will tell whether the former Edge is successful in taking down The Death Riders.
