An AEW star sent a heartfelt message after Tony Khan announced his match against Kenny Omega. The Cleaner will wrestle his first match on AEW TV after over a year next week.
Brian Cage is set to lock horns with former AEW World Champion Kenny Omega next week on Dynamite. The match was made official after what went down this week on the Wednesday Night Show. Omega made his first Dynamite appearance after more than a year and delivered a passionate promo before being interrupted by his former manager, Don Callis.
The Cleaner didn't hold back and jumped right in to attack Callis on the stage. However, the Don Callis Family members, Brian Cage, Lance Archer, and Kyle Fletcher took out Omega in the ring before Will Ospreay came to the 41-year-old's aid. After the show went off the air, Tony Khan took to his X account and made the match between The Best Bout Machine and Brian Cage official for next week's Dynamite.
Later, Cage broke his on-screen character to react to Khan's announcement, claiming he joined AEW five years ago for this match.

Kenny Omega sent fans a message after AEW Dynamite
Following his blockbuster return on AEW Dynamite last night, Kenny Omega cut another promo after the show went off the air. The Canadian X addressed his return after the surgery and claimed that pro wrestling is ''thriving'' in 2025. Omega also said that he was looking forward to wrestling more after his return.
“If I have my say, if I have any power at all over my person, if I can be even a sliver of what I used to be, I want to be at the forefront of that movement. So next week, I will be back in an AEW ring, and moving forward, I would love to absolutely be in the ring performing in front of all you guys,” he said.
It remains to be seen how The Best Bout Machine fares in his first Dynamite match after a year next week.
