An AEW star opened up about Damian Priest's win at WrestleMania 40. He even claimed The Archer of Infamy was his best friend.
QT Marshall is the latest to open up on Damian Priest's big win at WrestleMania 40. Priest's booking on the main roster has been nothing short of phenomenal in recent times. His run in the Judgment Day established him as a top heel and he lived up to those expectations by winning the Money in the Bank briefcase.
Priest capitalized on this opportunity and cashed in his contract at WrestleMania 40 on Drew McIntyre to become the new World Heavyweight Champion - a moment that he will cherish for the rest of his life. QT Marshall was also in attendance to witness the moment take place.

During a recent interview with Fightful Select, QT Marshall said that he was at WrestleMania 40 to witness his two best friends Cody Rhodes and Damian Priest win a world title.

"It's great to see him. Like I said, him and I are super close. I was able to be at WrestleMania the night he won, that he cashed in and also the same night Cody won. So it was just really special for me to be able to be there for both. It was like my two best friends in professional wrestling, both being the world champions of another company. Damian Priest recently competed for the World Heavyweight Championship at Survivor Series: WarGames 2024
Damian Priest's title run came to an end at SummerSlam due to Finn Balor's betrayal. Since then, he defeated Balor at Bad Blood 2024 and wanted to move on and regain the world title again.
He became the number-one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship on the November 3 episode of WWE RAW and challenged Gunther for the title at Survivor Series. However, Balor again attacked Priest with a Coup de Grace and cost him the title.
It will be interesting to see how Priest responds to this attack from Finn Balor on RAW this week.
