AEW star's brother asks: "When are you going to wrestle Saraya?" Hopes to see a rematch 7 years in the making

An AEW star revealed that her brother asked her to wrestle former WWE Divas Champion Saraya. It has been one of the most anticipated rematches for years.

The AEW star in question is current TBS Champion Mercedes Mone. The CEO made her All Elite debut earlier this year. However, she is yet to have a showdown with her old rival from WWE - Saraya (fka Paige). The former Anti-Diva got injured during her match with Mone years ago.

Meanwhile, during a recent edition of her Mone Mag newsletter, The CEO stated that she was back in her hometown, Boston, and was so happy to be surrounded by friends and family.

"This week was extra special because I got to be back in BO$$TON/New England with Dynamite in NH, as I said, and Collision in Providence, RI, and even made a surprise appearance for NJPW in Lowell—more on that later. Being back in Boston, in any capacity, just fills me up; there’s something so comforting about being surrounded by friends, family, and fans."

Mone further revealed that her brother asked her when she was going to wrestle Saraya.

"It's extra special for me because I get to have my brother Joshua tag along. He came to all three venues with me. To see him healthy and walking on his own was pure magic. Joshua's face lit up as we walked by the AEW trucks, but when he saw Saraya on one of the trucks, he couldn’t contain himself, constantly asking, 'Mercedes, when are you going to wrestle Saraya?' Mercedes Mone's match for AEW Full Gear

Mercedes Mone has been feuding with Kris Statlander for the past several weeks. After weeks of animosity between the two, Mone vs. Statlander for the AEW TBS Championship has been made official for the upcoming Full Gear pay-per-view on November 23.

The star will look to ensure that she retains the title and will possibly employ all kinds of tricks to defeat Statlander. Kamille will also accompany her and will possibly try to interfere.

It remains to be seen if Mone manages to retain her title at Full Gear and when she will face Saraya.
