An AEW star recently spoke about Bryan Danielson's potential final match on national television. The star in question is none other than Claudio Castagnoli.

On the October 8th edition of AEW Dynamite, Bryan Danielson is set to team up with Wheeler Yuta to take on PAC and Claudio Castagnoli in a Tag Team match. The American Dragon has been vocal about retiring from in-ring competition once he loses his AEW World Title. He is set to defend his title against Jon Moxley at WrestleDream and if Bryan loses, the Dynamite Tag Team match could be his last match on national television.

In a recent interview for The Takedown on SI, Claudio Castagnoli said the match would be very emotional as he gets to be a part of Bryan Danielson's last bout for the second time. He recalled how Danielson's WWE retirement in 2015 was also after a Tag Team match that he was involved in.

“It's gonna be very emotional. I was in Bryan's last match before, when he was forced to retire. It was a tag match as well, and I was in it. It was in London, England. This, I think, will be on a little bit different terms. I mean, obviously like I said, it's gonna be very emotional if that's the last time I'm going to be standing across the ring from Bryan. It's gonna be special," H/T:[Fightful]

Claudio Castagnoli believes AEW World Champion Bryan Danielson will leave it all in the ring on Dynamite

Claudio Castagnoli has been a close friend of Bryan Danielson for a long time and knows better than anyone else about his in-ring ability.

In the same interview, the former ROH World Champion said that Bryan Danielson is gonna leave everything he has in the squared circle despite how much toll it takes on his body.

“Bryan is always trying to compete at the top of his abilities. He's never gonna hold back. He's always gonna leave every single thing that he has in the ring, no matter if that's good or bad for his personal future," Castagnoli said. [H/T: Fightful]

It will be interesting to see which team comes out on top this week on AEW Dynamite.
