Adam Copeland has returned to AEW. The company closed the year with its second annual Worlds End pay-per-view, which ended with a big shocker as Copeland returned to target Jon Moxley and The Death Riders. A certain star close to Copeland just quoted another WWE Hall of Famer in issuing an emotional message on what's next.
The Rated R Superstar and FTR returned after Moxley retained the AEW World Championship in the Worlds End four-way main event. Copeland, Dax Harwood, and Cash Wheeler took out Moxley and The Death Riders to a massive ovation from the crowd, setting up a big trios match on this week's Fight for The Fallen edition of Dynamite. Moxley is rumored to defend next against the WWE Hall of Famer formerly known as Edge.
Scott Hall and Kevin Nash have been credited with a popular quote over the years: "In this business, you can make friends or you can make money," but Hall was originally given the advice by WWE Hall of Famer Chief Jay Strongbow. Harwood, a noted student of the old school, took to X today to borrow the quote in celebrating the reunion of RatedFTR. He included photos of the trio in WWE and AEW.
"'You can make friends or you can make money'. How about both? This will be a helluva ride and I’m thankful yall are on board. Full circle. RatedFTR," Dax Harwood wrote with the photos below.
A top AEW star just called one of his colleagues 'spoiled' and 'narcissistic' HERE.
Copeland and FTR have never shared the ring, but they will team up on this week's Dynamite special. Copeland, Harwood, and Wheeler will face Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta in trios action.
AEW returning home to Daily's Place
All Elite Wrestling is returning to Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Florida for its fourth Homecoming special. The episode will air live via TNT on Saturday, January 25, and tickets are on sale now via Ticketmaster.
Dynamite and Rampage aired as Homecoming specials in the past, but this will be the first Homecoming edition of Collision. No matches have been announced as of this writing, but wrestlers advertised include FTR, Christian Cage, Chris Jericho, Jay White, Willow Nightingale, and Mariah May.
The Homecoming Collision will take place one week after the Maximum Carnage edition of Collision, which tapes on Thursday, January 16 to air that Saturday, January 18. Maximum Carnage Collision will be held at The Andrew J. Brady Music Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, one night after the live Maximum Carnage Dynamite special at the same venue.
