AEW star Skye Blue has been announced for a major intergender match. This comes after Blue hasn't been a regular feature on Dynamite in recent weeks.

Ever since turning heel and aligning herself with Julia Hart, Skye Blue has been a regular feature on AEW TV. She along with Julia has terrorized the women's division in the company. Unfortunately, the House of Black member suffered an injury in her TBS Title match against Willow Nightingale a couple of months ago and hasn't been seen on TV since then. As a result of Hart's absence, Skye hasn't been featured as prominently as before and is lingering in the women's division. Despite this, Blue is set for a major match.

SSkye Blue issued a statement after a horrific incident

Wrestling in front of 1000s of fans is no easy feat as wrestling fans can be loud and boisterous and Skye Blue found that out first hand.

During one of her matches against Lady Frost a couple of months ago, a fan in the front row started hurling vulgar comments at Blue. The incident got so bad that security had to step in and handle the situation. Following this incident, the 24-year-old took to social media to issue a statement.

"I’m beyond overwhelmed with all the love and support. Thank you everyone you have no idea how much it’s appreciated 💙Let’s make sure the future generations of women wrestlers don’t have to deal with this sh*t."

It will be interesting to see whether Blue will continue teaming up with Julia Hart after she returns from injury.
