A former AEW World Champion was stabbed on tonight's Dynamite. The attack happened when Swerve Strickland was involved in a huge match and Ricochet decided to disrupt the contest with scissors.
The One and Only star has had a few interactions with the former AEW World Champion and the latter mostly ended up making fun of him. At the Worlds End pay-per-view, Strickland asked the crowd to throw toilet paper at him. Ricochet was extremely humiliated as he stood in the middle of the ring with the toilet paper flying all around him. However, the star took his revenge tonight.
On the Fight for the Fallen edition of Dynamite, Swerve Strickland wrestled against Jay White and Roderick Strong in a three-way contest. The winner of the match was supposed to enter the Casino Gauntlet match, where the winner receives a guaranteed AEW World Championship match. All three stars delivered an amazing performance in the triple-threat bout.
