A former AEW champion recently revealed her goals for her future in the company. The star being discussed is none other than Kris Statlander.

The former TBS Champion has been one of the most popular female stars in the AEW's locker room. She has been All Elite since 2019 and made her debut as an 'extraterrestrial.' She turned heel earlier this year after turning on Orange Cassidy and Willow Nightingale and aligned with Stokely Hathaway subsequently.

Kris Statlander quitely turned babyface last month and broke her alliance with Stokely. She will be seemingly a part of the TBS Championship program against Mercedes Mone given their recent teases and interactions.

While speaking with Youngstown Studio, the 29-year-old star discussed her objectives. She claimed that her long-term goal is to not get injured while her short-term goal is to become a champion. She also stated that she would take advantage of the situation when the opportunity arises.

“I’d say as far as long-term goals, hopefully no other major injuries is the best I can ask for. Short-term, I would love to be a champion again, maybe work one of these New Japan shows that come around. (...) So I’m just grateful to be able to do what I can every day, make the most of everything that I can, and when opportunities arise. I’m going to do what I can to make the most of it," she said. Kris Statlander will be in action on AEW Fright Night Dynamite

The former TBS Champion has confronted Mercedes Mone and her henchwoman Kamille a couple of times. On the latest edition of AEW Dynamite, after The Brickhouse picked up a victory over Queen Aminata, Statlander approached the former and was attacked by the TBS Champion.

Kamille and Kris Statlander are scheduled to square off at Fight Night Dynamite this Wednesday.

It remains to be seen who walks out victorious between the two female powerhouses.
