AEW star takes vicious shot at Charlotte Flair on Dynamite

A top star has seemingly fired a shot at WWE Superstar Charlotte Flair tonight on AEW Dynamite. She referenced how she had beaten the 14-time women's world champion in the past.

Mercedes Mone (fka Sasha Banks) is set to defend both her TBS and NJPW Strong Women's Championship tonight against the returning Emi Sakura. This will be the first time that both her titles will be on the line at the same time.

Earlier in the show, she was interviewed backstage by Renee Paquette before her match. Mercedes Moné was showing great confidence heading into the match and claimed that the veteran had nothing on her.

She then made a bold claim, claiming that she would take the win, and dethrone another queen, stating that it wouldn't be the first time she would be dethroning a queen. Emi Sakura's moniker is "The Queen" and another major star in the industry with the same nickname is Charlotte Flair. This was most likely a shot at the former WWE Women's Champion. Both stars were part of the Four Horsewomen in WWE and have faced each other multiple times.

It remains to be seen whether Sakura or anyone else will be able to derail The CEO's great run.
