Tony Khan just confirmed that a WWE legend is All Elite. However, this announcement made an AEW star unhappy.

Shelton Benjamin made his first appearance on the fifth-anniversary episode of Dynamite and aligned himself with MVP who made his debut a few weeks prior at AEW Grand Slam. This got many fans talking about the possibility of The Hurt Syndicate coming to fruition with the only missing piece of the puzzle being Bobby Lashley.

Following the conclusion of AEW WrestleDream, Shelton Benjamin got into a backstage confrontation with Lio Rush after he and MVP rudely interrupted him. As a result, a match was set up for this week's episode of Dynamite between both men. It was also Shelton's in-ring debut in the Jacksonville-based promotion. After a grueling match, it was Shelton who emerged victorious.

Following the match, Tony Khan took to social media to publicly welcome Shelton Benjamin to AEW. However, Max Caster was not happy with this decision and he asked his boss to reconsider it.

"Please reconsider @TonyKhan."

Max Caster previously stated that he didn't want Shelton Benjamin in AEW

Ever since Shelton Benjamin was released from his WWE contract, there were rumors that he would land in All Elite Wrestling. However, before he could join the company, there was one man vocal against him joining the promotion.

During an interview with Chris Van Vliet, Max Caster said that he doesn't need someone else to come in and take up his TV time. He also said that the company has the best roster and that is enough.

“We don’t want him [Why?] what’s he gonna do? Take up my TV time. Every single free agent that comes up in professional wrestling fans want to go, they’d be great in AEW. We only have so much TV time. Some of that needs to go to me. I don’t want all of it. I’m not selfish, but I’m the best. But if people start calling for Shelton Benjamin, or Motor City Machine Guns or whoever, it doesn’t matter, and not to single anyone out. My sentiment is, why would we want them? We already have the best roster, you already have the best wrestler alive... If you want anyone to come in and do whatever role they’re going to do. I bet I can do it better. I bet Anthony could do it better."

It will be interesting to see if this will lead to a storyline on TV and an eventual feud between The Acclaimed and The Hurt Syndicate.
