An AEW star just issued a warning to WWE Hall of Famer JBL. He threatened to clothesline the legend.
Lio Rush is one of the most entertaining stars in the world of professional wrestling. His unmatched speed makes up for his small stature. Rush first gained traction due to his pace and agility in the ring. He often confuses his opponents with his high-flying moves.
Following his WWE release Rush wrestled in the indies for a bit before signing with AEW. He even competed for the TNT Championships recently on Dynamite against Jack Perry. Despite his size, Rush doesn't seem afraid to stand up to bigger opponents.
John Bradshaw Layfield has been on a tour recently visiting various promotions like TNA Wrestling and MLW. As a result, Rush felt like the WWE Hall of Famer might show up in AEW soon and he sent out a stern warning to the veteran.
Fans drowned out a popular wrestler with 'She's a racist' chants recently
"If JBL pop up on me, im clotheslining the s**t outta him," wrote Rush.

Baron Corbin on his failed run alongside JBL
In an attempt to get some heat on Baron Corbin and establish him as a top heel in the company, WWE paired him with John Bradshaw Layfield. While the duo seemed promising at first, Corbin wasn't able to get over and The Wrestling God eventually gave up on him.
During a recent interview with WrestleManiac UK, Baron Corbin said he was hurt after his run with the legend didn't work out.
"When I was kind of finishing my time up there on the main roster before NXT, I was stuck, man. I was mentally burnt out. Physically, I was burnt out. The stuff with JBL just didn't work for some reason, it didn't resonate with the audience like I saw it. I still think it could have been so successful. So, that really hurt, because I think the world of John [JBL] and it really kind of put me in a dark place in a sense," Corbin said.

Following this run, Corbin went back down to NXT before making a main roster return again.
