Top AEW stars got into an altercation backstage after weeks of animosity building up between the two. The stars have been together since their debut in Tony Khan's promotion.
The AEW stars in question are Max Caster and Anthony Bowens of The Acclaimed. The former AEW World Tag Team Champions are currently on the brink of breaking up their partnership for the first time since their debut on the promotion together in 2020. Things started to go bad after MVP offered Caster his business card to join The Hurt Syndicate.
At the Full Gear 2024 pay-per-view, Caster and Bowens had communication issues during the World Tag Title match. The cracks were again seen last week on Rampage, where Caster accidentally cost Bowens his match. This week on Dynamite, a rift was seen between The Acclaimed during their tag match against The Hurt Syndicate.
After Dynamite went off the air, Anthony Bowens confronted Max Caster as things got heated. Bowens pulled his hands before hitting Caster, revealing Billy Gunn told him not to lay hands on his partner. The backstage altercation ended with Bowens leaving the arena without Caster.

AEW star still has the offer to join The Hurt Syndicate
Several weeks back, MVP, along with Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley, surprisingly confronted Max Caster and Anthony Bowens backstage. MVP also revealed that Caster still has his business card, and the offer to join The Hurt Syndicate is still open.
However, Caster has yet to make the decision to join The Hurt Syndicate. MVP also confronted and gave some words of wisdom to Max Caster before his match at Full Gear, and there has been a rift between Caster and Bowens ever since.
Moreover, Max Caster still hasn't rejected The Hurt Syndicate's offer. Fans will have to wait to see where the story is headed.
