AEW has reached a new low last week. The promotion hasn't been doing well in terms of ticket sales and TV ratings since last year. The company recently saw its show draw record-low ratings.

The Jacksonville-based promotion kicked off the Continental Classic tournament last week on the Thanksgiving Eve edition of Dynamite. The tournament was a huge success last year and had great matches booked this year, too. Shelton Benjamin, Claudio Castagnoli, and Brody King earned three points in the opening round.

Death Riders ambushed Hangman Page and Jay White as the stars aim to become the next AEW World Champion. Furthermore, Chris Jericho retained the ROH World Championship against Tomohiro Ishii. Mercedes Mone's henchwoman Kamille quit her alliance with the TBS Champion. Jamie Hayter defeated Queen Aminata in a fantastic contest.

Last week's Dynamite drew 536,000 viewers and was rated 0.15 among the 18-49 demographics. This is Dynamite's lowest demo during a regular timeslot. The number is massively sunk in comparison with last week when it drew a total audience of 620,000 and was rated 0.20.

Despite the Thanksgiving holiday, the company has managed to attract a large audience in the last four years. In 2023, the flagship show garnered an average audience of 845,000. Last week's Thanksgiving Dynamite saw the lowest-viewed edition.

It remains to be seen if AEW is able to increase its ratings in the coming weeks.
