It was recently reported that apart from fan speculation, there was a belief internally that a certain WWE veteran was making his debut at AEW All In last week. In the end, this did not happen. The veteran in question would be Shane McMahon.
For a few months now, Shane O'Mac has been linked to the company, and the rumors just grew stronger after he was spotted meeting up with Tony Khan reportedly at an airport in Arlington, Texas. Both sides have addressed this since, saying that they only met up as they were in the same area and just caught up on things.
In the recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer revealed that some AEW talent were also staying tuned for Shane McMahon, a former WWE European and Hardcore Champion, to make an appearance at All In. He was one of those big names who fans were speculating could appear at the show, and it seems they weren't the only ones on the lookout.

Jon Moxley may have made a subtle tease at Shane McMahon coming to AEW
Earlier this week on Dynamite, Jon Moxley made his return after an almost two-month hiatus and had some words to get off his chest as he was being interviewed by Tony Schiavone.
He first called out Darby Allin, saying that they had to have a long-overdue conversation. He did not reveal anything else, just that Allin should find him when he can.
Mox then said something interesting as he looked at Schiavone and said that it was not his company anymore. It didn't seem like the message was directed to the commentator, but that he was sending out a message to someone else. This was seemingly a tease at someone coming over to take over the company.
This further fueled fan speculation that Shane McMahon was on the way to AEW and that he may be set to form a faction with Jon Moxley. Mox has hinted at starting a new faction, as he brought in Marina Shafir to his side later in the night.
With The Elite, and Tony Khan tussling for control of the company, it remains to be seen if Shane ends up being a third party in this case, or whether he may be looking to partner up with one of the sides.
