AEW WrestleDream has been praised by veterans and fans. Sportskeeda Wrestling Senior Editor Bill Apter claimed that it was one of the best PPVs he's ever seen.

All Elite Wrestling presented the AEW WrestleDream PPV event last weekend with a stacked card. Bryan Danielson defending his AEW World Championship against Jon Moxley headlined the show. However, the rest of the event was filled with many surprises. The fans got to not only witness Bryan Danielson's retirement but also saw the returns of MJF and Adam Cole. Will Ospreay, Konosuke Takeshita, and Ricochet also delivered one of the best three-way matches in the promotion.

In a recent episode of Sportskeeda's exclusive The Wrestling Time Machine podcast hosted by Mac Davis, Bill Apter discussed the ending of Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson's match. The veteran called it a crazy finish but noted how the rest of the PPV delivered and was one of the best events he'd ever seen.

"I didn't see that. It may have but I didn't see that. You know Mox [Jon Moxley] got down and kinda like almost thanked Bryan Danielson but not really and then you know his guys all came in and attacked Bryan Danielson which was a crazy finish. But you had matches on that card that were absolutely amazing. Don't let that or the internet community ruin what was an excellent PPV in my opinion." [5:03 - 5:33]

Bill Apter continued to heap praise on AEW's WrestleDream PPV

In the same episode, Bill Apter claimed that every match at WrestleDream was fabulous. The veteran enjoyed the exciting matchups between Willow Nightingale and Mariah May for the Women's World Championship and the action-packed three-way match between Will Ospreay, Ricochet, and Konosuke Takeshita for the International Title.

"First of all, let me say that their PPV was incredible. Almost every match was fabulous, it really was. The way Mariah May handled Willow Nightingale, who weights a lot more [than her], but they had an incredible match. The triple threat match with Ricochet was fabulous." [3:15 - 3:47]

We will have to wait and see if AEW continues the momentum and delivers another exciting PPV in the upcoming months.
