A wrestling veteran commented on who he thought should become the next AEW World Champion, dethroning Swerve Strickland. The star being referenced is Will Ospreay.
The Ariel Assassin has become one of the top stars in the promotion in no time, since joining AEW in March 2024. Since his debut, Ospreay has been delivering fiery promos and top-notch matches. His match with Bryan Danielson at Dynasty is being widely praised by fans worldwide.
Also, Dynasty's main event saw Swerve Strickland finally dethrone Samoa Joe for the AEW World Championship. After months of chasing and hard-fought battles, the Realest star finally captured the top prize of the company.
Speaking on Kliq This, Kevin Nash stated that Will Ospreay should win the AEW World Championship at All In this year and become the face of the promotion.

"He's the guy. If Wembley is the show, you gotta crown him there and that should be your number one goal, to make him the face of your company. Because he is the guy," Kevin said. (46:50 - 47:12)
Brian Cage wants to face Swerve Strickland for the AEW World Championship
Brian and Swerve have been in a faction named The Mogul Embassy for a long time now. Before Strickland won the gold, the Machine claimed that he would like to face the latter.
Speaking to Sportskeeda Wrestling, the former FTW Champion expressed his desire to face the current AEW World Champion.
"I mean, like I guess politically right, then I should be like, let me have a TNT Title shot or the International Title to kind of spread the gold around. I could go against Roddy or Adam Copeland for sure, but you know, Swerve and I have had some amazing matches. If you wanted a little friendly in-house competition, no pun intended, we could do that," he said.
It remains to be seen what directions Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay go during All In pay-per-view. It will be held on August 25 at Wembley, UK.
