Former WWE personality Matt Camp has been seen on AEW TV for the past few weeks. He has been featured in the Continental Classic Tournament announcement segments on television.
Camp is a former WWE talent who worked with the promotion on many of its shows, like The Bump, RAW Talk, and SmackDown LowDown. WWE released him in February this year, apparently due to budget cuts.
A few weeks ago, AEW announced that Matt Camp would host Inside the Continental Classic, which would be exclusively available on the company's social media profiles like Facebook, X/Twitter, and YouTube.
The former WWE star has been working for the promotion for a month, and he recently took to X/Twitter to share his experience. In his post, Camp seemingly confirmed that he has officially become a part of the Tony Khan-led company.

AEW's Matt Camp on Dwyane "The Rock" Johnson pulling back the curtain
Dwyane 'The Rock' Johnson started a rivalry with Cody Rhodes earlier this year. He returned six months later at Bad Blood 2024 to seemingly continue his feud with The American Nightmare.
On the Road to WrestleMania XL, the two even had a backstage parking lot segment on RAW, where fans saw him The Final Boss beat Rhodes to the point where the latter's face was covered in blood. Later, Johnson's social media team released a behind the scenes cut of the sequence.
On the Busted Open podcast in October, Matt Camp said he didn't like Johnson pulling back the curtain and should've maintained kayfabe.
"We are in a world where the curtain is pulled back all the time. I completely understand that. I don't want people talking about their current storyline, out of character, while it's going on," Matt Camp said. "I don't want The Rock going, and here's where we said 'Cut' on this great bloody-rain angle we did."
The Final Boss was in his prime in the late '90s and early 2000s. He transitioned from the pro wrestling industry to Hollywood in 2004.
