Former AEW star Brodie Lee (FKA Luke Harper) died on December 26, 2020, due to idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. It is a rare condition in which the lung tissues continuously thicken and scar, resulting in breathing difficulty.

The former AEW TNT Champion would have turned 45 today. Remembering her late husband, Amanda Huber penned down an emotional and heartwarming note on X. She wished the erstwhile Luke Harper a happy birthday. Huber also shared some photos of him with their kids and dog.

"Happy birthday, baby! We’re making cheesecake tonight. I also got the stuff from Trader Joe’s you loved [I know it’s not like I needed an excuse to stop there]. I miss you all the time. You’d be amazed at the men Brodie and Nolan are becoming. Brodie looks exactly like you. Nolan has your personality,'' she wrote.

Amanda added:

Charlotte Flair to return and wrestle a CURRENT CHAMPION?

''They both got your humor. I wish I had one more chance to talk to you. Tell you how much I love you and how thankful I am for you. How thankful I am for the beautiful boys you gave me. I hope you enjoy your birthday with Bubs, and you’re both having hot dogs & [sic] a lazy day!"

Lee had an illustrious pro wrestling career. He was prominently known for his role in WWE as a member of The Wyatt Family. Lee left the Stamford-based promotion in December 2019 and joined Tony Khan's AEW in 2020.

Cody Rhodes took Brodie Lee's son to WrestleMania XL

After the death of the erstwhile Luke Harper, several wrestling stars have stepped up to help his wife and kids in every possible way. One such star is Cody Rhodes, who took Lee's son to WrestleMania XL and gave him the experience of a lifetime.

Earlier this year, Amanda Huber shared about Brodie Lee Jr.'s experience at The Show of Shows in an Instagram post, where she also thanked The American Nightmare for taking time from his busy schedule to make her son's dream come true.

Brodie Lee Jr. is an official member of Tony Khan's roster under the ring name Negative 1. He is also a part-time member of The Dark Order (Alex Reynolds, Evil Uno, and John Silver).
