The rivalry between former AEW World Champions Swerve Strickland and Hangman Adam Page has become severely intense in the past few weeks. At All In 2024, the latter distracted Strickland during the Title vs. Career Match against Bryan Danielson. This resulted in The American Dragon winning the AEW World Championship for the first time.
Swerve Strickland and Adam Page are scheduled to lock horns at All Out 2024 in an unsanctioned Lights Out Steel Cage Match. Initially, this showdown was set to be a normal Steel Cage bout. However, following last night's Dynamite events, Tony Khan modified the stipulation.
The latest episode of Wednesday Night Dynamite saw Hangman Page shockingly set Strickland's childhood home on fire. The King of Swerve reportedly fulfilled his lifelong goal of purchasing this house. However, Strickland's dream turned into a nightmare last night, thanks to his All Out 2024 opponent.
This fascinating sequence has received a plethora of reactions from fans on X (Twitter). Interestingly, some fans compared their feud with the ongoing rivalry between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre in WWE and claimed that it was way better than the latter.
